GrowMyPod Introduces Growth Intelligence Platform to Help Podcasters Turn Content Into Audience Growth
GrowMyPod is expanding the way podcasters approach growth by shifting the focus from traditional performance analytics to Growth Intelligence — helping creators understand not only what happened to their podcast, but what may be limiting its future discoverability.
Most podcast analytics platforms focus on downloads, listeners and historical performance. GrowMyPod takes a different approach. The platform analyses a podcast’s RSS feed, episode catalogue, metadata, topic coverage, audience signals and competitive landscape to identify opportunities that creators can act on.
“Podcasting does not have an analytics problem. It has a diagnosis problem,” said Matt Tones, founder of GrowMyPod. “Downloads tell creators what happened yesterday. GrowMyPod is designed to help them understand what could be holding their show back tomorrow — and what they should do next.”
At the centre of the platform is the Growth Playbook, which brings together recommendations from across GrowMyPod and prioritises the actions most likely to improve a podcast’s discoverability and content strategy.
GrowMyPod’s intelligence tools include Show Intelligence, which assesses the overall positioning and discoverability of a podcast; Episode Intelligence, which analyses individual episodes; and Content Strategy, which helps creators turn identified opportunities into future episodes and structured content plans.
The platform’s Topical Authority Map visualises what a podcast is known for, where coverage is developing and which subject areas represent potential content gaps. Rather than simply generating topic ideas, the feature shows how episodes connect around the podcast’s central subject and where deeper coverage may strengthen authority.
Audience Language Miner adds another layer of intelligence by identifying the questions, phrases, frustrations and language associated with a podcast’s audience. These signals can then be transformed into episode opportunities, FAQ gaps and content ideas grounded in the way listeners actually discuss a subject.
GrowMyPod has also introduced Playlist Intelligence, designed to help podcasters unlock more value from their existing back catalogues.
The feature analyses episodes and identifies potential playlist clusters based on listener intent, topic relevance and catalogue depth. It can recommend playlist titles, descriptions, episode selection and listening order while identifying missing episodes that could strengthen a collection.
Its Playlist Cluster Map allows creators to visualise potential listening journeys across their catalogue, while Binge Path recommendations help structure episodes into logical sequences that move listeners from discovery through deeper engagement.
“Podcasters can spend years building valuable catalogues, but much of that content gradually becomes buried beneath newer episodes,” Tones said. “Playlist Intelligence treats the back catalogue as a discovery asset. The goal is to help creators reorganise existing content into listening journeys that make it easier for audiences to find, understand and continue exploring a show.”
GrowMyPod is built around the idea that podcast growth tools should work together rather than operate as isolated reports.
A content gap identified in the Topical Authority Map can be sent into Content Strategy. Audience Language Miner can reveal a listener question that becomes a future episode. Playlist Intelligence can identify missing content required to complete an important playlist cluster. Those recommendations can then be prioritised within the Growth Playbook.
This interconnected approach is intended to give podcasters a clearer path from analysis to action.
As competition across podcasting continues to increase, discoverability is becoming increasingly dependent on how clearly a show communicates its subject matter, how comprehensively it covers important topics and how easily audiences — and emerging AI-driven discovery systems — can understand what the podcast is about.
GrowMyPod is positioning Growth Intelligence as the layer between traditional podcast analytics and content execution.
“Most podcasters do not need more data,” Tones said. “They need to know what to do next.”
