Too Long Didn’t Listen – 5 Podcasters. One Question. 60 Second Each.
The podcast industry is at a crossroads. Or it’s catapulting into a brave new world. Actually, it’s having an identity crisis and losing its soul. Wait…maybe it’s just doing very well and everyone needs to calm down. Depends who you ask. There are a lot of opinions and a lot of people with them. Too Long Didn’t Listen is cutting through all of that.
Inspired by the host’s own experience of trying to develop his own podcasting skills and wading through more arguments on LinkedIn than useful resources – this series curates trusted industry voices and gets their takes on the questions of the moment. It’s a podcast about podcasts and the people who love and make them (meta, we know). Now, they are answering the questions the industry can’t agree on.
Each episode asks one question. Five podcasters answer it. But, they get 60 seconds each. That’s the format. Will we finally define what a podcast is? Maybe. But if we told you here, we’d be ruining Episode 1. Through time, the series will turn into a guide to podcasting FAQs, curated from trusted industry voices. A useful resource for podcasters wanting to stay informed, hobbyists, and potential newbies. It’s quick too. You’ll spend less time listening per episode than it takes to drink a coffee. It’s designed to be super tight – unlike this press release.
Seven episodes (including one bonus episode) are confirmed for Series #1 with full episode line-ups to be announced and prompt for the first season as follows:
- What is a podcast?
- Why start a podcast (in 2026)?
- What makes a good podcast?
- What makes a bad podcast?
- How long should a podcast be?
- How important is video?
- [BONUS] A podcast we should all listen to…
